“There’s always a moment that separates the past from the future, and that moment is now.”

  1. We all create our own story day-by-day.
  2. Time will go by faster than you think.
  3. Most things will go better than you anticipate.
  4. It’s almost always better to do something rather than do nothing when there is a problem.
  5. Doing your best in any situation is enough.
  6. Grades are not always an accurate reflection of what you know.
  7. Trust yourself to meet the challenges of the day.
  8. Not everybody has to like you, but most people will.
  9. Just because you feel afraid, it doesn’t mean that there is something to be afraid of.
  10. Uncomfortable moments are part of life – for everyone.
  11. Humor is the best remedy for everyday challenges.
  12. You always have at least three choices in any situation: do something, do nothing, or ask for more information.
  13. You are never wrong to be kind.
  14. You will learn more when you listen carefully.
  15. Don’t believe everything you think.
  16. You are not alone in the world, even if it feels that way sometimes.
